Cloud Next '26: Google launches Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and TPU 8

At Cloud Next in Las Vegas, Google Cloud introduced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform for building, governing and monitoring agents, including agent identity, gateway and evaluation tools. It also announced eighth-generation TPUs, TPU 8t for training and TPU 8i for inference, plus a cross-cloud lakehouse and new Wiz-based security agents. For platform teams, it bundled agent governance features that enterprises had been assembling by hand.
